Yes we do know this, we older people live in the real world and fact is, if it could be it wpuld have been.

Nintendo have gone to long measures to try ensure the switch exploit was patched.

Xecuter are the only ones to find a new exploit via a chip.

Only stupid people will think nintendo wont patch this and check it.

Trust me, there will be no software/cfw/softmod exploit as this method has been patched.

It will require hardware to eploit.

And no other company will risk manufacturing and selling hardware as theyll have nintendo after them.

Considering most of the modchips are from China, I don't think Nintendo has any power over there to stop anyone.

Are you like best friends with SciresM and have the inside track to all knowledge? Are you an insider with Nintendo? Then you don't really know...there's always a possible way....you should go back the cheat code section and harass people there instead.

Because most of them are useless for getting CFW. Doesn't mean that noone is trying to find exploits. It's just after finding one it's checked what can be done with it and in most cases after months of tests it turns out you can't do much with it.

Based on what information? Those are extremely old firmware versions so I highly doubt modern consoles come shipped with those vulnerable ones.

Because most of them are useless for getting CFW. Doesn't mean that noone is trying to find exploits. It's just after finding one it's checked what can be done with it and in most cases after months of tests it turns out you can't do much with it.

It may not be useless for the HB loader. However, no one wants to do an exploit for basic homebrew anymore

I think people who are mostly involved in finding exploits would gladly take any exploit that grants access to homebrew. And in most cases those exploits are also useless to get homebrew.

Believe me, if we could at least get the hb menu it would be worth it, but most look at cfw as the only exploit as no one uses plain NS homebrew anymore. Which is why no one looks towards it. There was an exploit for HB on 3.0.0 but everyone forgot about it, it's not even on the GBAtemp wiki. I wish a developer would stop looking at a kernel exploit for CFW, and try to develop a way to load basic HB. ScriesM definitely wouldn't because he created atmosphere and most others wouldn't because they want cfw. Maybe yellows8 would but he isn't looking at it
