Does anyone know if they are developing a 3rd game? Or are they ditchin' because of the DSi?

I'm not really sure. They made their last Guitar Hero DS game in Nov 2008, so maybe by this year we will hear news about it.

There is also a write-up about Modern Hits in Nintendo Power this month with a full track list. Looks interesting. I would imagine that with the success of the first two DS versions, they will continue to come out with new GH releases for at least another 18 months. There are just too many DSs out there right now and it will take a couple of years at least before the DSi has that type of foothold in the market.

I've heard about Greatest hits being released, Its a compilation from the first 3 GH's. Once the DSi becomes dominant in the states, Im sure they'll stop developing them, but that could be a while.
