Gaming Guitar Hero grip with a rom?

Ok. I had problems with my r4ds and 1.18. Now it works.
Roms + grip work fine with other cards (I tested it on Ace 2 and Supercard).

As far as I know there will be a sequel (GH 4 is scheduled for DS) so probably you will be able to buy game + grip or just a game. Perhaps somebody in China will make the grip off the market (the device is patented).

I hope the homebrew scene will come with some swaping songs from previous GH games (just like PC Frets on Fire) or maybe a separate game?

Hey, I bought a grip from dealextreme, sku.18876. I've tried to get it work with my new DSTT, but without any luck. Anyone know a trick to get a Guitar hero rom to work with a grip on DSTT?

Same problem with EZ-Flash V+ or Vi here (i got one of each), the game didn't see the grip

I too can confirm:

AceKard + grip = works
ShaneC + GuitarHero = FAIL!

I suck so much at that

hey UbiQ i tink u juz start a new thread instead of using other people old thread tat had been abandon for over half a year...

theres shouldn't be much wrong with rom+grip...it is not detecting it might be due to error inserting the grip etc...try reloading everything u inserted...

He might have downloaded a patched Opera rom instead of a clean one for the official pack.

But I will be offtopic if I don't answer the question.

A rom of Guitar Hero, WILL work with the grip. I tried it out when I first got the real legit game.

Everyone thinks that roms are completely different from the real game. And how they freak out if Nintendo will ban them if they go on wifi with a rom, and they ask about, "Iz wifi stil teh same with eh rom?/"

THEY ARE THE SAME GAME. It's just in a file packed with all the same exact content as a real game card.
