Has anyone released any news on how does Nintendo Plan to release Guitar Hero for the DSi? No GBA Slot practically removes the ability to use the Glove-thingy.

Who cares, it sucks donkey balls anyway. Honestly, the strumming is absolutely garbage and I am sure many people would not mind avoiding arthritis playing that shitty port.

if you havn't noticed, the DSi lost the GBA port. so unless they come out with some funky DS cartridge, or if they decide to drop the strumming and just have the notes on the touch screen, I don't there there will be one.

Well if you have a flash cart, you can activate specific cheats to play Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades/Modern Hits/Original, with the buttons or D-pad but this feels very awkward...

@Kennypu: Err, duh. That is what this topic is about - "How will Nintendo make the new Guitar Hero games on the DSi?"
@JackDanielChan: Yeah, it's VERY awkward :/

As a GH fan and someone who bought the first DS GH to get their guitar grip, I think they should just drop the pretense altogether.

Rock Band Unplugged proved that doing things using just a handheld's buttons could work. Just expand that and give us a full DDR-like Guitar Hero game using the DS buttons. Use the DSi network to allow new songs to be downloaded or original songs to be saved.

Nintendo won't make anything like a grip for the dsi cause it'd be too much work and a waste of money.
+you can use a grip hack

I love playing the hacked version.
Its more of a challange than playing it with grip.

Also I think the grip makes the NDS less portable.
But I do not think any more Guitar Hero games will come out for the DSI.
This because we lost the GBA slot and I do not think they will bring out some kind of wifi device.

Greetz, Vistabuser.

well then to answer your original question, No there has been no announcements about a GH on the DSi.
and to answer the question you posted there, if they were to make a GH game that will work on the DSi(which I highly doubt), there is 2 possible ways.
1 way will be to obviously use the buttons/d-pad, and the touch screen. but if we use the touch screen for the notes, most people will have a hard time looking at the top screen, thus they way will fail.

2. If they are feeling techy, since the DSi has better wifi, they can make a controller that is wifi compatible, and make it playable with the DSi. So basicly you will be using the DSi as a screen, and have a seperate controller. but this will also fail because essentially this is the same as any other GH, but a lot junkier since its on a DS screen.
In other words, I highly doubt there will ever be any GH for the DSi.

Just download the latest cheat database for your flashcart.
Put the game onto your flashcart start up your NDS and you should be able to sellect: No Grip + Button remap.

So in other words they no longer patch the rom itself but put the bypass in the cheat db.

Greetz, Evil.

I read somewhere that Nintendo stated Guitar Hero is exclusive to DS and DS Lite. So no DSi Guitar Hero

Actually in an interview with Activision, they said they WILL make a GH game for the DSi just didn't announce when.
@Elixir: Those codes you gave are really awkward

Could you make more options to choose from?

Then we would need extra batteries :/
It would be cool if we wouldn't need any extra stuff, but you would press the colored buttons on your Touch Screen (you wouldn't need to strum the guitar too since that would be impossible). That would work.

There making a band hero ds bundle
it maybe a dsi enhanced which has downloadable games and louder power that on ds lite
