I did the procedure to unlock the lite drive on the xbox 360 phat but windows 10 doesn't recognize the video game drive, I made the homemade probe

Finally think I'm going to buy the stuff to RGH a few 360s that I've got, but I'm a little unsure as to some specifics about what options are available.

First off, seems like RGH 1.2 is preferable to RGH 2 due to broader compatibility?

Second, provided I have all options available, which modchip should I go with? I found the Matrix Glitcher V1 on Amazon, and found another site selling Coolrunner rev C clones as well as the AceV3 (supposedly genuine). Any of these preferable over others?

I have both, you want a Matrix for 1.2 but its only for older models, Falcon and Jasper

I think I've got a few Falcons sitting around, not sure if they're in an operational state currently though picked up 3 of the Matrix v1 just for the hell of it, might grab a few of the other two just to have in case I ever need or want them

Iirc The ace chips have dynamic tuning

hey...ive got a xbox phat with a xgd3 flashed rom drive.
i got tons of achivements on it.
my question is: can i safely connect it with xbla in order add the gamerscore to my existing legit account?

If your drive firmware is on the latest LT+ firmwares then yes you can.
I hope you properly patched your games and burned them correctly, otherwise your console might have already been flagged for a ban.

cant remember what firmware i used. guess its about 10 years old.
i just burn the games the way i got them. might be better to keep the 360 offline.
any chance to find out if iam flagged for a ban?

I don't know if there's a way to know for sure, but I could've sworn there existed an app (don't know if it still works) that could determine if you had been flagged. I think a marker was placed on the system or something like that. you'd have to do some research if I'm misremembering or something.

If you burn them the way you get them then I wouldn't take that 360 online.
Hell you're better off getting it RGH'd in all fairness.

You could try and copy your profile on a USB and find a different Live enabled 360 to sync it with.
Thing is, I'm not 100% certain if there's any flags triggered for the profile, don't think so in all honesty.
Proceed at your own caution of course.

I say yes.
With RGH3, hacking it is even easier, no modchip required.

You do need a way to write to NAND which depening on your 360 might be a NAND-X/JRProgrammer or a SD based dump kit.
