I have a couple questions. How do I make sure my A9LH is protected in the event Nintendo releases another update (any settings that should always be on/off). I heard that if I update wrong that the update would break A9LH and brick the 3DS, is that true or anything I need to worry about? Also I want to experiment with making my own homebrew, is there anything that I could do to accidentally break A9LH or brick my 3DS in a way decrpyt9 ,through A9LH, isn't able to recover from?

If you use Luma3ds, you're good. It'll patch everything so a9lh will not be removed. And that's by default.

Homebrew cannot brick a 3ds if it's just like a little homebrew game that runs in userland. And no, I highly doubt you're gonna create anything that'll corrupt firm 0/1 and brick the 3ds beyond repair from a9lh.

Hello everyone!
I´m going to buy a New 3ds with Arm9lh, at this moment I have an old 3ds xl with Arm9lh, so the question is... How can I transfer my cia backups and specially the saved data? Just copying the data from the old 3ds SD to the new 3ds MicroSD? Is more complicated than that?

Thank you in advance for your replies!

System transfer. If you copy the data it won't be able to be read by the other console.

Thank you for your answer Quantumcat, there is no problem if the games are from the freeshop?
The save data will always transfer, and the game data, but you'll need to reinstall tickets because only bought tickets will move during the transfer. (Without tickets the games don't show up on the home menu). You can mass install all available tickets with tikShop after the transfer to make all the games show up again. Any that don't show up you'll have to reinstall.
