Guardian of Paradise and Hydra Castle Labyrinth

There are these two freeware games for the PC called Guardian of Paradise and Hydra Castle Labyrinth. They're little cutesy games and I was wondering...


Does anyone else think these look like they were ported from the GBA or DS, or is it just me?


(If you don't know, Guardian of Paradise is kind of like Zelda and Hydra Castle Labyrinth is a Metroidvania-type game with little-to-no story. Look them up if you want to.)
