Gaming GTAIV Confirmed for PC

This came up on GTAForums, someone emailed the magazine and they said it was upon pure speculation. Yeah, don't get your hopes up.

I think the thread title is misleading, because this isn't confirmation of anything. So far all we've seen and heard is a blurry photo and a lot of baseless conjecture. I'm sorry, but until R* officially announce it, then I'm not believing anything, and neither should you.

That's what I figured. There's been exactly zero new Rockstar brand games on PC since San Andreas, not just GTA.

I really want GTAIV on PC for the mods and high framerates (SLI setup

well not really since nvidia's got the shittest drivers). I just hope pirates will have enough sense to give R* the money they deserve.

This nearly made me cry with laughter. A game dumbed down for the PC, its almost always the opposite. Take FarCry 2 the console version is equivalent to the medium settings on PC.

Yes, the PS3's graphics engine is similar to that of a geforce 7 series. Now that we have Radeon 4XXX series...

Bully: Scholarship Edition has also now been listed for PC evaluation by the ESRB so looks like PC will be getting 2 Rockstar games in the coming year/s.

This would be awesome, but only if you don't have to pay for online.
I hope modding will be posible, because the only reason why I still played GTA:SA after my almostcompletedsavefile was corrupted, was because of modding.

Are you fucking serious? I nearly fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard. Saying that ANY console at all is better than a PC in terms of graphics is like Nintendo "dumbing down" the original Super Mario Bros. to run on a Wii because the hardware couldn't handle it. Like someone mentioned before, FarCry 2 on consoles was medium settings on a PC.

I am a mouse and keyboard man. I don't have time to waste fiddling around with joysticks and shoulder buttons on a controller. With a mouse, aiming is a snap, just move it and boom, its there. No using a lame noob aim feature.

But then again, my computer is crap, I guess I am hoping that in a way it is not like another Crysis

Nevertheless, I am so excited that Rockstar is going to port GTA IV to PC.
