Well, after checking out a few forums, it seems that the game works on two carts now:

Supercard DS-One (clean mode)
G6 Real (with the latest firmware).

Some also got it to work with Acekard RPG, the DS-X with ARM7 patch and N-card, but those are unconfirmed.

Guess I'll have to sell my Supercard SD, then...

Oh, but this might be of some use - the game works perfectly on emulators, apparently; this means the rom is correctly dumped.

you can try it out there while waiting for a patch

it works on DS-X patching arm7 and with DSlazy if it doesn't work for on the 1st time it will on the 2nd i guess there was an issue like this.
but it kinda freezes if i want to play on wifi :/ layton also freezes on wifi so maybe it's cause of the arm7 patch with dslazy?

Ah well, GTA doesn't work on my M3 Perfect SD (Slot-2) card. Yeah I'm oldstyle with that card (bought it shortly after I bought my Phat DS), but it still works perfect for almost every game

The game doesn't even get to the start screen - I get black screens immediately when I try to launch the game. Any fixes for that?
