Gaming GTA- AR code freeze

I was play the wheelman mission(which I can't beat >=( ) and suddenly as I was about to get into my car it froze, has any1 encountered anything of the sort, and if so is their a fix for this?

hey man. i am not up to this point but.. which version of the game are u using? is it patched? did u trim the rom or something before u play it?

it might be a piracy checkpoint

i can confirm that the wheelman (which i found quite easy) does not freeze either during the stealing of all 3 cars or during the end or during the saving after finishing.

i am using the clean released rom with no patching just the code for the save bypass glitch.
i am also using cyclods evo 1.54b4

so i can confirm at least there there is no piracy check.

make sure u are using an UNTRIMED - un patched - clean rom
and also there might be a problem with cheats such as date/time cheats

It must be the time cheat, b/c on wheelman I get the 3rd car but I can't get it back to the garage in time.

it freezes in at that mission on my ds too, i'm using the same cheat code to bypass the piracy check.

the time and date cheat can be nasty!

anyway took it off, it works like a charm, can't get that freakin last car in on time.

I froze too, but not at wheelman.

can you please post the rom id of the rom u are using now?

i am using the [YGXE DEE4AA12] which is the actual clean rom and have not encountered ANY freeze during the game. (even tho i am not FAR in the game)
make sure you are NOT using the time/date cheats as they cause the game to freeze from times to times.

My games frozen 3 times now, using unpatched untrimmed rom with save bypass cheat. Im like 19% into it (just met that cop dude).

can u remember when did ur game froze? and can u also post the game id?


edit: also as far as i am aware. elixir has finished the game (even tho he is stuck with his ROFLcopter inside his garage.. sick sick sick man) with no issues
