I recently play with this excellent emulator of GBA. I just don't know how to make cht file for Minish Cap and Link to the Past.
Also, what is the format of save file? Do I need to convert it if I want to put one from gamefaq?
I appreciate any help.

It was just

PAR_V3 Some name for the cheat
00000000 000000

or

Gameshark_V3 Some name for the cheat
0000000 00000000

Unfortunately It only supports PAR and Gameshark cheats, even though the most popular type is Codebreaker. Really stupid decision, and nobody updates these emulators so no telling if it will ever be included.

Ok, so now I have following cheat.
Let say Wolfenstein 3D

I made following file:
==============================
gameshark_v1 Must Be On
96A5ABB890B8
39D8855B0BD5
FC76DB3C0872

gameshark_v1 Infinite Health
2C0906CC2D99

gameshark_v1 Infinite Lives
D66679974252

gameshark_v1 Infinite Ammo
2C2B040D2F9B

gameshark_v1 Have Keys
5C6A65150A52

gameshark_v1 Have All Weapons
D626780D4652
==============================
But in gPSP it shows me only first cheat (M Must be on) in first slot.
The rest of slots is empty.
So how to apply multiple cheats?

He'll probably be searching for awhile if it's anything other than a 999 rupee cheat or something equally simple. All the interesting and worthwhile cheats are for Codebreaker.

Actually when I add empty lines gPSP sees all cheats. But they seem not to work

Well, I know about that trainer maker, btw it is great but still I want to make cheats for that emulator.
The cheats that I have work great on Visual Gameboy emulator, just I do not know how to make them work on gPSP...

On some gPSP website I found this:
gameshark_v3 MarioInfHP

I believe the problem is that they are encrypted. Try decrypting them with ARCrypt.

For example with the first code put in 995fa0d9 0c6720d2 in the left text area and change the code type to AR v3/4 and the output to RAW.

Click Convert

The output will be generated: 02204866 000003E7

Then repeat with the other codes. BTW the Infinite HP in battle code is actually a v3/4 code as well so ignore the v1.

Furthermore, 12/8+4 codes are actually Codebreaker/GSSP codes (Blaze sold the engine out from under Pelican to Mad Catz but that's a totally different topic...) and will require CBACrypt to decrypt them. Note that you will have to format all of the 12 character codes on each line into 8+4 in order to decrypt and also the first line of the Seed Code (Master/Must be on) -- the one that starts with 9 -- must be the first code in the text area.

I'm not sure how hit and miss the cheat support currently is but if there's any problem don't hesitate to use GBAATM.

Cracker, I love your GBAATM, but I need to learn this.
The best codes are for Codebreaker then (12 letters) and the best way would be to convert it into game shark (8 + 8).
Unfortunately, that CBAcrypt don't work. Can you elaborate how to do it?
I found this website - but I have no idea what to do:(

I'm glad to hear you enjoy it. It really is nice to hear positive feedback to software I've made.

Sadly, a lot of v1/2/3 GameShark codes cannot be converted to CodeBreaker/GameShark SP format because they actually replace reads from the ROM and not RAM (which is the only thing CB/GSSP can do).

I suggest visiting BSFree to see if there are CB/GBSP codes that are what you want for your game.

The 12 (or 8[space]4) character codes are the ones that you need to use. 8 or 16 character codes are AR/GSv1/2/3 which are the ones that can't be used.
