Hacking gPsp cheat help

I am trying to get to the debug room in MOTHER 3, so I downloaded the cheat on the database on this site, edited it to have the master code, 16 hit combo, and hold L when changing maps for debug room. I loaded the .cht file in gPSP and the codes showed up on the list and were enabled but it did absolutely nothing! P.S. I am using a PSP GO N-1001 PRO B-10

You need to preface each code with the type (notice that the cheat list has multiple types of codes). The ones that are formatted like that are PAR_V3, dunno' about the ones with the colon.
