Nice hackintoshing, I heard you can learn a lot from the experience and for those hobbyists it can be well worth it.

Like to do something of that nature sometime myself once I acquire the proper knowledge to do so.

Not that hard actually. Look up "opencore guide" it should help you through the process

It is a lot of reading though, and takes a lot of time.
