Hacking Got a9lh + luma on 11.2 U, but the sound app crashes after a few seconds and i can't load homebrew

When I launch Nintendo 3ds Sound, it prompts me with a welcome and a few seconds later, crashes and gives the removed gamecard error
Cubic Ninja freezes at loading qr code
Hbl loader launcher leads to a red screen

I have the boot.3dsx and internet enabled, but i didn't think about updating payloads or a9lh seeing as i just installed it, maybe that would work if i fixed it

That doesn't tell much which Version you have installed. If you followed the guide in the last time you should have the newest version. In the newest Version the only new feature is sdless Boot if you put your arm9loaderhax.bin from luma into CTRNAND in the way it's written in the guide

No problem. Was also confused at the beginning but after reading much tutorials and stuff i found out that the Version of the zip doesn't always correspond with the a9lh version

Or after going to Plailect's page regarding updating a9lh and reading the warnings at the beginning of the page.

Regarding Nintendo 3ds Sound crashing a few seconds upon entering, I've come to the conclusion that my sd card is causing issues.
I tried launching without an sd card at all: no issues
Reinserted sd card: crashes
Ejected sd card and inserted the one from my phone: creates ext data again (duh) but no issues
I guess I'll have to look into this later

I must be missing something, but I thought getting A9LH was impossible above 11.0
Does soundhax add the ability to install A9LH on 11.2 without an nfirm downgrade now or something?

His firmware was updated to 11.2 with a9lh. (a9lh can't be patched once installed)
Also it is possible to get it but it needs a dsiwarehax or hardmod

This guy already had a9lh, and updated. You can update once you have it.

Furthermore you can downgrade on 11.2, but you need another cfw 3ds or one of the four exploitable dsi games that were pulled from the eshop.

Edit: or like xtheman166 said, a hardmod.

Ahh, thank you. Sorry for the silly question. Pretty sure I read this before but just didn't take it in.

Did deleting and redownloadibg the ropbin payloads for the HB launcher loader etc work to fix homebrew? As for the sound app crashing did you install soundhax to your SD card? That will cause a crash that fails to load hbl when the ropbin payload isn't the right one/in the right place.

I can now confirm that a9lh wasn't the issue, as everything now works since I changed the boot.3dsx from 2.8 to 2.6

Except the console run on something that doesn't have FIRM0/1 protection: Arm 9 gone
