Well, I've switched from Firefox to Safari and I won't be switching again anytime soon. I don't see the point on competing with Firefox, because that is what they'll do, IE's market share is just too big right now.

Just another way Google can track you and gather user information. Like on the same page, they have the unique identifier IDs set to expire in 10 years. So basically they track every search you ever make in google. That and all the other information they gather about you with their search engine and services. Their email, Gmail, Orkut, YouTube, Google Docs, their new services which will index your medical records for hospitals and doctors, blogs, you name it.

I use google myself, so I'm not an anti-google person but lately they have been getting as bad as Microsoft and Apple lately. Their "Do no evil" policy doesn't seem their top concern anymore. A shame, though while its one of the better companies right now, they aren't as good and perfect as many people think. ;p

Same here. It really is just another run-of-the-mill web explorer. Unless there are other features that we have yet to see. But until I see something really good, I'm sticking to Firefox.

Half this thread is already full of posts by the ignorant saying things like "just another web browser" and "zomg i switchd 2 firefox from ie itz SOOOO AWESOME MAAAAAANNNNNN FUCK GOOGLLLL FIRFOX4LYFFFEEEEEE///EEEE".

Google is possibly changing how all web browsers will function from here on out.

If you can't appreciate how fucking big this is you don't deserve to even have access to a web browser.

I read this whole comic explaining about google Chrome and it seems that they've set some new standards for web-browsing.Good thing it's open source so Mozilla and the likes can get some ideas to keep up with.
