Gaming Good multiplayer LOCAL game

Hi, im looking for a good game that supports 2 player on 1 computer. no fps shooting split screen games please. It would be even better if it can do 2v2(on two computers) through LAN (i have a gamepad if required)

Most EA Sports games allow multiplayer on the same computer. One person can play with a gamepad, while the other uses a keyboard, or if you have two gamepads you can play that way.

Playing some multiplayer emulated games is also another option.

It's a very funny racing game!
perfect for hours of fun 1 to 4 players can enjoy it.
I played it with my little brother for 5 hours straight.

Playing games multiplayer on 1 PC is very rare, the only one I know that can do it is Rollcage.

I know we had a thread exactly like this a few months ago, but I can't find it.
If you look good, you should be able to find it. There were a bit more mentioned there.

Just get emulators, there are loads of multiplayer games that fit those genres on the NES/SNES, and for Arcade games just get Mame32++ or winKawaks.

Oh, there's a really good fighting game called Sumotori. Don't bother downloading the full version if you're no going to buy it, since the time limit is really annoying. So just try the demo version.

Get a NeoGeo emulator and download some pack of roms for it!
I had some pack, and it was full of awesome arcade games, and I used to play it with a friend of mine on the same computer all the time.
