It's because spironolactone is literally just a diuretic - which means it makes you pee salt

There are actually better drugs that block androgens but due to how how healthcare system works they are way more expensive

But actually blocking androgens is a side effect, not the main effect - and we put people on spiro all the time for its diuretic effect
They use Androcur here in my country, which I've read works better than Spironolactone, so no salty foods craving for me I guess?

Honestly I'm still figuring things out but I've always felt I wanted to be a girl, ever since I was like 9-10. I want to take my time though to understand stuff better.
I hope you can figure it out. Lately my brain slapped me in the face by saying "your gender is wrong, isn't it?"

Thanks, I was always a pretty introspective person so I'm sure I will when the time comes, but it still isn't an easy process. Something I've realized recently is that it's not just about being a man or a woman, you can also be both or just not identify with anything. I think this fits me better than "I want to be a woman and live as one". It's definitely not an easy process lol, but take your time and I'm sure you'll figure things out too.
