Trump’s a business man, he likes to do business 😝 because like the economy during his first term (before the pandemic ) was actually good

Hey I’m not worried about communism anymore, socialism is the new party I fear that shouldn’t be praised so much

And hey, if it turns out really bad in the next few years, I’ll just switch political parties
"And hey, if it turns out really bad in the next few years, I’ll just switch political parties"

Sadly the damage to the US will still be there, it's not like a fun game where you can try all the combinations

This will have far reaching implications for the US for decades

A lot of the important product categories being tariffs will take years to set up factories. Also the other 2 times that happened there happened to be a depression.
Again, everything takes it time

At least there’s some plan to help stimulate economic growth, primarily so that future US won’t go under

Under Biden, we were just in so much debt with no current solution, printing more money wasn’t gonna cut it

Lad when Trump took his oath in January the economy was doing very well

As for now...

Tariffs do not stimulate growth, see unpronounceable name's point on depression

And if it doesn’t? And that everything Trump did worked? We’re not there yet because I think we’re still suffering from Reaganomics, that’s why it’s hard to judge Trump’s impact because we don’t the future (no matter how much we analyze)

At the cost of an increase wealth inequality where only a small percentage of rich folks controls the economy

“As for now”

$20 bet that everything will be alright in a year ♥️

Considering the other nations haven't placed tariffs on us that equal the trade deficits in place, for most nations there is no way to comply or stop what's going on

We can't force other nations to buy more of our goods - the market doesn't work that way, and Trump's deal with China in term one didn't fix the deficit like he said it would

As a result we will end up sanctioning ourselves effectively - retaliatory tariffs and our tariffs will have the net result of decreasing trade to and from the US while contributing to inflation, and possibly ending in stagflation

Well, was the trading market balanced before? This might encourage local industries to scale up production and reduce dependence on imports, potentially improving the trade balance over time

Efforts to level the playing field may take time, but can ead to increased exports and a healthier economic situation if domestic industries grow as a result of protectionist measures.

It's honestly not too late for a good old-fashioned presidential assassination - come on guys, who's going to step up to make America great again?
But but but we be sad if you become the next Harvey Oswald :(

By letting kamala be president
She lost, if something happens to Trump, the vice president will take over, that being JD Vance

Which would be cool because we need a president with a beard

There is some proof to say that she won but trump rigged the vote. Not sure how true that is.

I agree targeted tariffs in certain industries over time can lead to domestic products gaining edge, as long as there are no tit for tat tariffs (there always are)

But going against the whole world at once in such a nontargeted way is just going to lead to market shock and a slowed economy

No serious academic thinks she won, it's as crazy as the people who say Trump won 2020

If you're gonna say Trump rigged this election, then you think he would've rigged the last election, which is also rumored to have been rigged by Biden

True, it should've been a gradual process, but now that it's everyone right now, it's us vs the world
