Two really good open-source FPS games similar to Quake/Unreal Tournament, both powered by the same game engine (Cube 2)

Sauerbraten
Red Eclipse

How unknown are we talking?

Shining Soul I & II
Black
Boktai

Freedom Fighters
The Entire Phoenix Wright series which somehow went almost unknown here. (As in I only hear about it on gaming forums, no one I talk to has a clue what it is.)

I would guess just about every good game out there because most people I talk to are.....

"C.O.D. is the best game evar! Nothing can touch it!1!"
"Nazzy Zambees is super l33t!"
"Hurr Durr I only plays my halo, everything else is gay."

...You get the idea...

Can you play one of these 2 games in co-op?

Neither have a single player mode, so no. They're multiplayer only.

Cool, I'll check them out none the less!

Wikipedia
Dungeon Keeper 3 was not released. However, some Dungeon Keeper 2 CDs contained a trailer showing some features of Dungeon Keeper 3, amongst them above-land battles. One member of Bullfrog Productions stated on his personal website that Dungeon Keeper 3 was going to be named: War for the Overworld.[4] This project was discontinued because, according to Ernest W. Adams (one of the developers), Bullfrog had decided not to do any other RTS of any kind. This decision was in effect the end of Bullfrog as a brand; the company had already been owned by EA for several years, and EA laid off some employees and put the remainder onto other projects such as the Harry Potter line.
I heard the whole story years ago, round about when Bullfrog ceased to be. In the last couple months, Molyneux has apparantly been quoted as wanting to get back to it and work on DK3, but there's been no action to that effect so far.

Otherwise... is it a bad sign that I've actually played the majority of games posted in this thread? Isn't this thread meant to be about "unknown" games?
