I am tired of playing Need for speed shift. (aka need for speed on ice) Why can't PC gamers have the luxury of Forza or Gran Turismo? Is there any modern pc car simulators out there?

GTA 4 can be pretty realistic at times.
Real simulators like GT and Forza aren't out on PC yet.
Games like GRID and DiRT (same developers, Codemasters) are superb racers too IMHO. It's a nice mix between arcade and simulation.

There are trucking simulators, Euro Truck Simulator, UK Truck Simulator, German Truck Simulator, and Euro Truck Simulator 2 is coming out this year.

you could get a PS2 and play GT4 (assuming your PC has a strong CPU)

GTR 2 is maybe the closest to a real simulator you'll come on the PC.

A racing game is not equal to a car simulator [IMG]

DiRT 2 was pretty good even though it was arcade-sim. Physics and everything else gameplay-wise is pretty good. There other PC sim racing but they require paying for an account but it's as real as it gets. You can try Shift 2....
