Thank you everyone.

I tried talking to my wife. She just doesn't understand. Basically what she says is "WTF. You haven't talked to him in a long time so why do you care?", and unfortunately my wife isn't the brightest bulb.

So I've been drinking a real lot lately and it is just destroying my stomach. I know better. I know liquor is not the answer, but I don't have much options over here to help me deal with this. Hence why I turned to GBAtemp.

Sorry that your wife is being like that. Its been about 4 years or so now next tuesday that my wifes best friend from her childhood lost her son to suicide. He was only 11 years old and to me I could not even begin to comprehend what was going through his mind at the time he did it. Her friend would bring him with every time she came visit and that Christmas prior when the PS3 launched he was there when I opened mine ( I saved it cause I knew what it was so he could be the first to play with me after I opened it) to play it with me. He was like a son to us even after we had our own. We have a picture of him holding our boy when he was still in the NICU. we sneeked him in under the guise that he was my son and her friend was my ex.

So I kind of had gone through what you must be feeling right now. I had so much going through my head when I found out about it, so many questions with no answers. I don't know it all but my offer still stands if you ever want to talk and you need to hear a voice.

Support is always important in our lives..

My deepest condolences bud, and sometimes girls don´t understand us. A good friend is always kept inside, but as life always teaches us a LOT of lessons.. I just once thought of suicide, i´ve also had some friends who died in car accidents, other suicided... but you know? There are a lot of people who loves us surrounding, and .. I wouldn´t do it just because of those who love me. Somehow your friend needed a lot of help, but he also must be happy to have such friend like you, to even carry his slumber.

It´s really painful that feeling you´ve shared half of your life with someone as geek as you, or even played as much NES as ever, that very best friend you´ve had..

But don´t do anything stupid, that won´t do anything, just be sure you learn from this lesson, and be sure to take care of all those who love you, share your love bud.

At least that´s what i´ve been doing since my friend left, and feels like his memories aren´t in vane, in fact, he always was proud of me..

I can only truly imagine what his mother felt that day she found him. If it were me in here shoes I don't think I'd be alive today. from what I found out he might have been gay and in the closet so to speak also. At that time I left my computer store passwords and when ever he was over I let him use my computer. A few days afterward I decided to snoop at the pages he frequented while at our house found his myspace page and there were some pretty blatant facts staring me in the face on there that this may have been coming. I didn't ever tell his mom, maybe I should have but I didn't want to add any more fuel to an unstable fire. She did once ask me tho if I could find his myspace password, I told her that my PC didn't keep history of such things. How he hid what he had on there from his mother in real life I have no idea.

I never told my wife either and one day she said that she wanted her friend to be our sons god mother. I had to tell her no. I love her friend like a family member but she is not a good parent. he spoke of the things that she did to him on his myspace. The punishments he received for stupid shit. I know I only saw his side of things some of the stuff he wrote I could see his mother doing them.

Just know that your not the only one ever to face a situation like this and you won't be the last. Take what ever you might learn from the experience and remember it. You maybe the one who has to help someone else through it someday.

For starters your have my condolence. (Whatever that means)

Okay for the most part, you're just blaming on an illness that's all in your mind. You're focusing on your problems more than finding solutions, so of course you're being bog down with self-pity and bitterness! You have been through psychwards and NONE of them can help you out, its because your depression is base on your faith!

Despite how I can't relate to your issues/situations, we all have been through depression and suicidal thoughts (Heck, I had one last year.) that doesn't mean we should continue to feel sorry for ourselves. No one is going to bring out of it, you have to do that on your own.

Whatever was there before i hope you changed your mind and will continue living and loving your 2 beautiful daughters and don't forget your wife,They all love you very much and would hate to see you commit suicide

Best Regards,

ff6man/Justin
