If it's a heated discussion, yes, it's unavoidable. There are a few topics that are sure to bring up Hitler sooner or later:

Politics: Hitler.
Religion: Hitler.
Vegetarianism: Hitler.
Drugs: Hitler.
Human rights: Hitler.

There are more, these are just off the top of my head.
