OK GBATEMP! I want to replace my DS fat, but I don't want to have to flash it so I can use my SC SD.

My SC SD runs nearly everything perfectly, with the exception of Lunar Nights/Intros to a few games, so why should I replace it.

GBATEMP! HELP!

1. No ROM patching
2. If you get CycloDS Evolution it's 100% Download Play Compatiblity
3. They're smaller and won't stick out of a DS Lite
4. Most carts have 100% compatibility

How much does the CycloDS Evolution retail for, and can I expect the same quality/updates as the DS-X, or will it just die off like the M3 SD?

The DS-X is not a quality product and it's updates are really, really bad... CycloDS Evolution retails at around $60 (£30) and when you add the price of a 1gb MicroSD card onto it the price becomes around $80 (£40). It's a great product, check out the GBAtemp review by clicking 'Reviews' at the top of the site. Try looking at R4 as well. It's cheaper but doesn't have as good support and it doesn't have 100% Download Play compatibility.

Where the hell does everyone get their SD cards from? Seriously. I got a 2gb kingston micro (with converter) off of newegg for $22.

Stop buying flash media from mod sites.

edit -- oh, and I got my cyclo for $55. Between 2gb and cyclo it ran me about $80.

Or get a R4 a great product.
If you buy the chinese model you get it to 25.33$ at dealextreme
And a 1gb MicroSD card for 13$.
Thats only 38.33$!
And then you can use the R4 firmware to M3 DS patcher by iq_132 (http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=53463) to make the english R4 firmware work on your chinese R4.
Its a good cheap solution if you dont need download play.
But download play may be fixed in the future.

Man, that's rough. How is it I can get something in HK for $5 shipping and you guys can't? Your customs taxes must be crazy, that sucks.

no one needs to give u a reason to get something for yourself

If u dont want it, dont get it, simple as that

Because i doubt anyone here cares if u get one or not, sorry if im being rude but thats how it is

The reason everything is so expensive in the UK is because of tax, i believe
the supercard SD is a straight conversion from dollars to pounds(same numbers so that means about double price) its just ridiculious
