Gaming Ghost Trick Chapter 8?

Err, not sure if I'm on the correct board, so feel free to move this (though I don't see why I wouldn't be...).

I'm having trouble with Ghost Trick, Chapter 8.

I've gotten to the fate change and I know I have to go bell->spoon->bed->phone/alarm->toilet->picture->napkin->bottle->trash can and then launch the ketchup and get back to the spoon, but by the time Sausage Head starts digging, it's already too late, no matter what (the timer seems to skip to a certain point when he starts digging).

Is this an anti-piracy thing, or am I just slow, or am I just not doing things right?

i think you need to stay with the napkin with the O. you hit the napkin with the ketchup bottle didn't you?
when the sausage man picks the napkin, jump to the spoon.
