Don't screw it in too tight. It could start bending the ds slot inward. When screwing in, only screw it to the point where it's almost about to start tightening. Then again, maybe it's just my Nyko PowerPak+ that's bad...

I second what was said above, I had mine screwed in too tight and then my supercard was too difficult to get in and out.

Also, if you happen to come across the charging dock for the powerpak+, do not get it. Its been tested to mess things up.

Other than that, buy it and enjoy the longer battery life.

I suggest you wait for the Nyko PowerGrip+ As it adds a second circle pad, thickness and protection.
It gives 4x battery life so I'm not sure how that compares to the powerpack.

Isn't the PowerGrip+ 3x? The powerpack is 2x.

Anyway, they PowerGrip+ adds unnecessary length to the unit for those who don't want the second circle pad.

Additionally I feel and all in one replacement battery is a more elegant solution than having a second battery which is connected to the charging port which is in turn constantly charging the main battery.

1x + 3x = 4x
Extra, unneeded thickness in unsupported games overrules less controls in games that do support it imo.

No 3x = 3x. It's not three times EXTRA, it's 3 times.

...it may very well do, but for somebody who is never going to use the second nub in any game, the extra thickness is a dead weight that provides no benefits whatsoever.

Thanks for noting that I had no idea just picked one up from best buy. I kind of like the thickness it ads it gives you more to hold onto and I like that fact that it still fits in my pouch so I don't have to remove it.
