Hacking getting R4DS soon, just wondering

I'm getting my R4DS soon and i'm pretty new to most of this stuff also. I read the idiots guide on this site for the cart readers and i have all of the necessary files, now i just want to make sure i have everything down. I just want to know how to put moodshell on the card(what format if needed) to play music and movies, and how to i put DS roms on too. thanks

For moonshell it should be on the cards firware by default if you download the latest.For videos they need to be converted into the .dpg format with dpg batch program or the moonshell tools that come with it.For music i think its just mp3. For roms just put them in your micro sd anywhere in .nds.

Moonshell is not included in the beta versions. Get 1.07 first, and copy the files to the microSD card, then copy the files from 1.08 beta over the old files from 1.07.
