You need to have a retail cart. You can dump the rom using the gateway menu. After that you use the gateway rom patcher to export the header from the rom you dumped and then again rom patcher to inject the header you extracted into the rom you want to use online

So with one retail card header, if you inject it in all your roms, you can play online with all your games? With 1 retail card? :D

Gateway has an extensive manual about all it's features. You will find the appropriate option to dump your cartridge on the Gateway menu.

Question I read that you can't take the header of a 2gb game and inject it into a 4gb game lets say monster hunter 4 for example is this true?

I don't think that is true. I have dumped my MK7 cart and use its rom on every game I wanna play online. I have no ban issues or anything and I play online almost every day

compare all E3 from the beginning till early 2000s that were god-tier. then compare all the later E3 that were pure cringefest and soulless.

@BigOnYa: You know what would rock? Howabout a space shooter in the vein of COLONY WARS. People have tried to do this but it just DOESN'T FUCKING WORK. And I'm serious. If you've ever, EVER plays Colony Wars, a terrific space shooter, with all of it's ships maneuverability like Colony Wars (your ship in that game can move BACKWARDS, which is a serious part of navigating in that game), and modern-day gameplay would be fucking AWESOME. But you know what? It'l NEVER FUCKING HAPPEN, for the same reasons that SONY FIRED Liverpool Studios. Know what that means? No more WIPEOUT RACING GAMES. I've said enough. I have to retire. You cats stay cool, and we'll be seeing you in the Matrix...

By the way, in remark I made above about WipeOut & Colony Wars, BOTH of these games were developed by PSYGNOSIS. On the OG Playstation, there were 3 iterations of WipeOut, and 3 iterations of Colony Wars. Psygnosis eventually evolved into LIVERPOOL STUDIOS, so I hope you can understand the connection. Studio Liverpool was eventually shut down after their release of the WipeOut Omega Collection for the PS4 (which is also available for the PS5). This was a TERRIBLE move for the CEO COCKSUCKERS @ SONY, who only look for profit. The CEO's of this company DO NOT PLAY VIDEOGAMES. They just want to know how much money is going into their pockets. Too bad, that was a VERY TALENTED TEAM OF DEVELOPERS. Oh well, looks like I'll be saving my money on the next-gen console that is backed by REASONABLE FUCKING GAMERS.

    Why?

Actually I was trying to do gpu compute on the 3ds and putting two mov instructions next to each other causes the 3ds to crash
