Hardware Get round connecting joycons on first startup

I've factory reset my unpatched switch as I'm looking at selling, however the left side of the tablet doesn't recognise when the joycon is attached as such the initial Switch setup procedure where you have to connect both joycons is difficult to get past.

Is there a way to bypass connecting the joycons and get past the initial setup?
