Homebrew Genesis games not working on Emunand.

I've injected Sonic 3 onto my 2DS 8.1 emunand but when I open it it stays in the 3ds logo screen. Is there any way I can get it to work?

On a side note, will there ever be cia snes games?

Is your Emunand updated? Sonic 2 requires a certain firmware to run, even if you inject other games into it.

I updated my Emnunand to 9.2. I tested out Megaman Willy wars and it didn't work.

Update it for god's sake! Try 10.6.

It's possible to install CIAs on latest firmware. I used FBI, and it worked fine.

on emunand, there is little to NO Consequence for updating.
