    Release Summary:


    'GeeXboX' is an open-source media center software package based on linux and 'GeeXboX for Wii' is GeeXboX ported, UNOFFICIALLY, to run on Nintendo Wii game console.

    This is GeeXboX for Wii version 0.1alpha7. This version updates linux to 2.6.29.1 using GameCube Linux team's latest kernel patch, which introduces support for returning to Homebrew Channel
    and RVL-AVE functionality. Support for native wifi and DVD is still absent.

    Yup...I think bushing and co. are working on this...should be integrated in BootMii. Read that somewhere on Wiibrew-Forum...

    Anyways...it still misses the USB2.0 support...without that, I don't need it...only good feature of GeeXboX is that it can play through folders...the rest doesn't ineteresst me realy...MPlayer-CE is currently simply better...

    I'd stick solely with Mplayer-CE if it played through folders and didn't randomly freeze up on me in the middle of use. Geexbox has yet to ever freeze on me.

    Can't get this to load up... HBC won't open .elf files and the ELF to DOL converter didn't fix it.

    I think they dont know that ELF files arnt suported anymore...

    .elfs work if you use a forwarder.
