Hacking GECKO REGION FREE

cant get this to run!! keeps coming up as not a wii application! so certain games wont run without it! i know this cause it does it on mine but when put on my mates it wouldnt! please help thanks

could it be that you tried to start an old version of geckoos? the actual hbc doesn't like *.elf files, only *.dol files

can i change the elf file or where can i get the updated one if there is? cheers
