I've been attempting to make a custom GBC VC inject using NSUI Beta-28 for Crystal Clear (A Pokémon ROM hack). It supports trading just like the other mainline games and since I plan on using the CIA on my 2DS and New 3DS I wanted to keep the function intact. I know that NSUI has an option for a "linking" version of the GBC emulator, but when I try to compile using this version and head to a Pokémon center, the typically wireless connect screen that shows up with other games is nowhere to be seen. As far as I know, the developers of the romhack haven't tinkered with how trading works (except for Stadium, I think it's compatible with the original games as well), so I don't know what the issue could be. I feel like I'll have to come up with some sort of patch to get it working, but I don't know if there's anything that I'm doing wrong that could be causing this.
