Hows this for some basic rules:

2 players per match
Single Screen
Only standard field
No handicap
First to 3 wins

Any complaints or suggestions? Personally I think 4 people battles wouldn't make much sense because they'd be too crazy...

I personally don't want to do this for a year because 4-player matches are judged "too random".
In my opinion, 2-player is boring. But I guess that's me.

Sign me up. I play this one all the time. Rank 15, trying to get rank 1.

EST, so I think thats GMT -5

Free almost all the time. Just gotta get in the habit of getting on here more.

Suggested rules----
-1v1
-Positions fixed
-No Virus (Skull)
-First to 3
-2 minutes
-Pressure blocks on
Power downs don't bug me too much.

I've almost never had a bout that didn't conclude in two minutes, unless its a map like conveyor belts. Or large map.

Time doesn't matter to me really, but in every bomberman I've played (Excluding Bomberman online) the default and metagame time has been two minutes. Bomberman online follows at 3 minutes, but pressure blocks start filling the stage in at 1 as opposed to 30 seconds.

I'm perfectly fine with anything that follows standard gameplay though. Excited to have found a Bomberman tourney.

Yay, I'm officially in the tournament. I cannot wait for this, Bomberman is simply one of the greatest multi-player games ever.

As for rules, I'd like to throw in the exclusion of the "Escape" maps. I was playing on them last night, and they seem really cheap. The objective of a tournament should be to eliminate all other opponents, not blow up blocks and run to a door! XD

Just a question, I don't actually have Bomberman 2 on me but I have Bomberman Land Touch! 2. From what I know BLT!2, Bomberman Story DS and Bomberman 2 contain the same WiFi Battle pack so you can play across these games. Can anyone confirm this?
