We're back!
Our host Powweb.com had disabled our account because we had too many visitors, which caused "high cpu and server load". We've then decided to take measures to prevent this from happening again. No big deal, really, but you still ought to know
- "Birthdays list" won't show up on the board index view when no birthdays to show.
- Cut off for active user display is now 10 minutes, instead of 20.
- 'Users Browsing this forum' feature removed ('Users Browsing this topic' still on, though)
- Minimum search word length: 4 letters instead of 2.
- User caching of pages is now enabled.
- Search post now cut to 250 characters.
- Number of Articles to display in the main section: 5 instead of 6.
- Ads removed, yay!
- Max. number of personal messages to show per page when viewing inbox: 20 instead of 50 (I doubt you'd have 50 new messages anyway!)
- Reported Post Notifications are now sent via e-mail.
- Flood control enabled: you'll have to wait 15 seconds between each message you post.
- Default number of topics per forum page: 25 instead of 30.
- Default number of posts per topic page: 15 instead of 20.
- Max. size of post: 80 kilobytes instead of 100.
As you can see, there's no major change.
If the situation remains problematic, we'll have to move the GBA release list to another server.
