I've created an equasion to clear up any confusion.

GBATemp = 4chan

As you can see, GBAtemp is actually 4chan. 4chan dialect is looked up upon by the much of the internet, due to sounding retarded. Image macros in moderation are to be expected of a message board, but goddamn lolcats are hilarious.

RIGHT. By using anonymous' slang elsewhere on the internet, you are doing what's called making anonymity.

Long story short, you are funny. Since it is inevitable I concede this thread over to love 4chan speak and rickrolls. It's kinda the sign of a site's peak, but I guess GBAtemp is as geared toward tech savy users as before.

I have actually seen a decline in 4chan type material here.
Some people may not like hearing this, but..

Many of the people who made it seem "cool" to others to post things relative to 4chan are now gone.
Urges to post stupid things are much lowered for the average member.
It's a pretty good thing, even if we did have to let go of a few members.
That was their own choice to begin with, though, and I'm sure they're still around, as guests.

I was about to reply "Thank God," but in their place we got a bunch of newbies asking for translations and hacks and about games and machines that aren't even out yet. I prefer the 4chan wannabes - at least most of their garbage was kept in the testing forum.
