Hi, I'm playing pokemon Emerald with GBArunner3 but have an issue. The transition effect when encountering a wild pokemon causes visuel glitches and masssive slowdown. It's the exact same issue as this person on reddit has (which includes a video): https://www.reddit.com/r/NDSHacks/comments/1l3tsnm/gbarunner3_vs_pokemon_emerald/
Anyone got an idea what might be going wrong and if there is a way to fix it? Maybe some special branch or something, or is it a know issue?

That's currently expected, you can disable the JIT in emerald to get a speed boost with that animation. Check the WIP readme for details

Hello everyone. Since I don't have the time or inclination to read this entire thread, can anyone tell me if Fire Emblem 8 hacks (FEUniverse projects) are supported by the latest version of this software? The hicode version of GBAr2 works fine for these titles, but you still need to apply the patch to disable autosave (which otherwise creates graphical and sound bugs), and some custom BGMs are still crackly and hoarse. Thanks to anyone who can provide informations about this topic.

I have just installed GBARunner3 folllowing the instructions given at sanrax.github.io. When I tried to launch gbarunner3, it has issued an alert saying "you are trying to run gbarunner3 with gbarunner2 parameters". I have no Idea on which parameter, and which file that contains these parameters is addressed with this message.
Is there anyone who has an idea?

I would recommend if you use it with TWiLight Menu++

it's more user-friendly

I already use the with Twilight Menu++. But formerly I had gbarunner2 and apparently, somehow some system file of gbarunner2 has caused this result. Since I am not familiar with these files, I can not isolate the part that cause the inconvenience.

can anyone help me? gbarunner 3 isn't loading saves, even though when i save the file is there in the sd card. What should i do? And why can't i load pokemon emerald

does gbarunner 3 have a menu or something i can access? I noticed gbarunner2 can save files because i can go back to the rom selector and even to twillight menu without turning off the console, but gba3 doesn't have a menu and you can only go back by turning off the console

That's correct. GBARunner3 doesn't have a menu, so it's basically useless to me until it gets one. Turning off the console just to switch games takes a long time thanks to TwilightMenu++ taking forever to load on 2GB+ SD cards. I've been using GBARunner2 while I wait for 3 to get a menu.

You can use pico-launcher now, it supports file extensions so you can load your GBA files using GBARuinner3 directly, and you can also use game covers for them https://github.com/LNH-team/pico-launcher

Here's a re-ran Github Actions from one of the GBArunner3 forks by Vea, which supports RTC, Hicode and Rumble for games that have GPIO rumble (Drill Dozer and rumble patched games), rumble supports the following rumble devices right now:

- Drill Dozer/Wario Ware Twisted GBA carts.
- DS Rumble Pak
- EZFlash Rumble devices (3in1, Omega, etc)
