I was just wondering, if it is possible to have the VBA that is already out setup to emulate the virtual console emulators. This would make GBA and GBC games playable. Also if VBA was reconfigured so that it would run only one rom, we would have what would appear to be a GBA/C Virtual console game. Also if the development of Wii64 is good enough eventually the same method could be used to increase the compatibility of N64 games and actually have working copies of Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and Banjo Kazooie. Does anyone think this is possible?

if i understand correctly you want the VBA & 1 rom to be injected in a channel?

\it is possible but might be hard to configure as vba is configured for homebrew loaders

I dont think ot would be that hard as the only things that would need to be done are Rerouting the saves to the wiis internal memory, rerouting file loading to a rom inside the wad,and adding guides, banners etc. I think it is very possible.

Why not just use the emulator? It has so many more features, like Save States, and NOT taking up internal memory on the Wii...

Since the Emulators are so easy to load via the Twilight Hack, and Homebrew Channel, I highly doubt anyone is trying to do what your asking.

You'll probably have to wait until Nintendo releases a GBA VC title to do anything close to what your talking about.

Yeah, this type of thing isn't something that can be as easily done the way you describe. It takes more than just swapping out the emulator from the container file. Best bet is to not be lazy and just use the emulator. VC injects should only be used for games emulators don't support like Neo Geo and N64. I believe there is a channel version of VBA floating around the forums, then you wouldn't need the HBC or Twilight hack everytime.
