will either the g6 lite, m3 lite, or ezflash 4 lite fit in my gba?

do I need a passcard for any of these?

None of them will fit in the GBA. Just the Lite

gba SIZED DUMMY CASED INCLUDED!! the m3 lite is the only slot2 that will not fit into a gb micro, there is a mini SD version of the EZF 4 that has a normal sized shape like a gba cart that fits into a gb micro, it's only the lite version, shown here: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=36216 that does not fit into a gb micro!!

Sorry. I was under the assumption that the user thinks that if he ordered the EZF4, it'll come with a GBA cart. I was tired when I typed that response and I totally forgot that the G6 lite came with the GBA cart

yes, 4G is the biggest size available and i think if you do decide you want a slot 1 flash cart the R4DS works as a passcard aswell as a flash cart for booting DS games, so what i am saying now is don't buy the passcard right now, just wait it out a bit and buy the R4DS later or wait for the G6 real as these will both boot slot 2 with built in passcard.

proof here in this review that the G6 lite boots fine via slot 2 menu on the R4DS.

what flash cart are you talking about? the G6 real? that is only a slot 1 flash cart that fits into the DS slot, it's not for the gba. although it does come included with a slot 2 flash cart but it's a mystery to what it does.

what i was trying to tell you is the G6 real will act as a passme device built in that will go into the DS slot only and when you boot the G6 real there will be a option to boot from slot 2, this is where the G6 lite will boot from if you want to boot in nds mode to boot DS games or homebrew. the G6 real itself can also be used to boot DS games aswell, so really you will only be using the G6 lite for gba games and ds homebrew and the G6 real can be used for your DS games, i hope that made sense

has this been fixed yet? "There’s a bug with original Gameboy games (.gb) that you copy over to the G6 Lite. Every game is given the name ‘Goomba’ (after the GB emulator). This causes a lot of confusion as you never know which game is which, something that definitely needs to be addressed."

any chance of price drops soon? If I can get it for $100shipped then I would order it right away.

have you tried bamboogaming? gameyeeah? and realhotstuff? try those and see if you can get a good deal.

what other places did you find because some of them can be very dodgy so you have to watch out.. the sites i listed are the cheapest you can get on the net everywhere else sells it for over $100

modchipstore and jandaman prices are too high, and that's not even including the shipping, yes both of those sites are reliable, gameyeeeah is the only one that cheaper than the other two sites, but realhotstuff still beats all of those websites @ $90 with shipping bamboogaming is another site thats even cheaper.

that bug isnt a big deal but if a new revision is coming out to fix it then I would gladly wait instead of purchasing one now

you can download the updatd version of goomba and compile the gb roms into one gba file and if you wish edit the name in a hex editor.

it's a firmware problem with the G6 lite, to overcome this problem you can download the goomba program separately and compile them yourself with full names e.t.c and if you compile the roms yourself you can put many roms in one gba file, it's more convenient that way.

would it be possible to buy a dummy case for the m3 lite and have it fit perfectly in my gba? Would a 1gig microsd fit more games onto it than the g6 lite?

i hope you have the patience of a saint as you will be waiting a while, the M3 lite was release over a year ago and it's still selling for $70 it's the same for those old flash carts like the EZFlash III that's still going for big money and it was released earlier than a M3 lite, it's recommended to look around a bit and compare prices.
