Homebrew GBA emulator ON NDS

I thought there were only 3 applications, 2 of darkfader's ds trojan (bricker) and flashme. If it's that messed up just flash it (it only flashes something like the first 64 kB/s but if the code that the ds is told to play in is located in there then problem solved! if not overclock it, click here to see the dsl being overclocked and click more info beside the user's icon to find links to how they modded it. Also the reason why the ds, dsl and dsi can't play gba games on a slot-1 flashcart is because it's in ds native mode (or slot-1 mode) and it doesn't have enough ram to emulate what the gba does (correct me if i'm wrong anybody ^.^).

There's not many things that will brick a DS or screw it up. It must've took some REAL hard searching to find something that won't brick it completely but will fuck it up enough to make it hard to use. Kudos to you.

There's not many things that will brick a DS or screw it up. It must've took some REAL hard searching to find something that won't brick it completely but will fuck it up enough to make it hard to use. Kudos to you.

There's probably no solution to your issue other than buying a new DS. Since there's so few things that will affect the DS's firmware there hasn't been anything developed (as far as I know) that will fix it. Next time actually research things and actually know what you're dealing with so you don't ask stupid questions or act like an 80 year old women who was just handed a computer for the first time in her life. It annoys me when people get too worked up in the concept of pirating games that they leap without looking into flashcarts, don't know what they're doing, and expect people to spoon feed them answers.

I know the DQIX hentai slideshow will brick your DS, but not from experience if that's what you mean. I'm pretty sure anyone with a half assed knowledge of flashcarts knows to not download a suspicious version of DQIX. Not that I would even download a good version, since Dragon Quest seems stupid to me.

No seriously, you can't emulate or run GBA files on the DS without a slot 2 card, such as the EZFlash 3-in-1. And no it wont work on the DSi.

Perhaps posts with 'GBA' in them should be hidden until aproved by a mod...

The DS brickers will destroy as much of the DS firmware as they can. On DS Phats, this is about 75% of the firmware, more than enough to brick it. On most DS Lites, almost all of the firmware is protected under the SL-1 contact (the one you have to short in order to install FlashMe) so the only thing the bricker can get to is user settings and wifi data.

Unless of course you shorted the SL-1 contact while running the bricker. Then it would destroy anything and everything.

just get a new ds and try tradeing in the old one... also why are people getting modded? and mabye since this question has been asked so many times it should be closed...
