Hacking GBA and M3DS Real...Newbie

Hi,

I've had the M3 for 6 months now and have used it successfully with NDS roms. I tried using GBA roms for the first time yesterday, and my DS just locks-up. It gets to a screen where the GAMEBOY splash come on, but thats it. I put the roms in the GBA folder, is there something else I need to do?

Have you got the slot 2 expansion pack - if not it will not work.

The GBA games have to be run from slot 2, the games on your M3 get passed to the slot 2 and played from there. If you are getting one, get the M3 version as this needs no extra software to run and had real time save.

By expansion pack, do you mean the rumble ram pack?

he means the GBA expansion pack, the expansion that came only with the perfect bundle of M3, but you should be able to buy it separately in stores for about $20USD
