Oh so they have time to update and release their site, but they don't have time to update and release their firmware.

And to add to the post above they are moving to a larger server, which is why there was a maintenance sign before.

Is it just me or the website seems to be an old version? In the Downloads section I can only see up to OMEGA 2.2 and at the bottom of the website: "Copyright 2013" Has it always been like this? Or maybe they let people get into the website and used an old version of their own history?

Anyway don't worry. They will do their best to publish this update asap, especially when Christmas is so close. I haven't bought mine because I though they would chance hardware,but as they have assured,they will not,so I'm probably buying mine today. I can't wait to play Luigi's Mansion :oops:

Honestly, I am doubtful about the Gateway team. I'm no longer sure they have 9.x support. I have a 4.1 3ds anyway. But the fact that they announced they coming support 3 days after sky3ds and now the site is not avaible after revelation that sky3ds support last firmware is kinda strange. Seems like Gateway team wants just to gain the most time possible and make people wait and not buy sky3ds without giving any new clue. and now this site shutdown.
I hope that is only technical issue and that everything gonna be ok

well seeing as you've got 2 posts in, and are voicing an opinion contrary to popular belief we can just take that previous statement with a grain of salt. Gateway has been fairly consistent in their methods (the main one being how long they wait making people wait and wait and wait) but they have had their site come down several times and also have improved their site after they've taken it down. It's not really unusual, at this point, it's just annoying because we'd love 9.2.x support

The administrator of MaxConsole (the official support forum for GW) said that the HDD of GW's server broke down, so they are replacing it. Simple. It's *really* a technical problem

The video they showed had a N3DS XL, there's no doubt they have it. Sure they could fake it, but they have been somewhat trustworthy in their news delivery in the past.

It's not just on Gateway site, I visited yesterday another website hosted by the same company (or whatever it was, it had he same name) and I got the same error. So it is not a problem of Gateway.

To be honest with you, DavGerm4, I wouldn't keep it, as Gateway Team has been the first one to release a flashcard and the one who has always supported users. They were the first ones to offer a flashcard and buying their card is the best thing you can do to thank them (I mean if you are going to buy a flashcard, of course, something you've already done). I really like the emuNand feature, and other exclusive things like region free, which Gateway first worked on and got to make it working. That's the reason why if I buy a flashcard it's gonna be a Gateway flashcard, because I want to support the real hackers of the 3DS

BTW, I just saw that OMEGA 2.6 is back on their site.

Means that cloudflare works perfectly and that the issue is from their site (data corrupted?)
And did we receive any official message from them about this shutdown? On Facebook, twitter something like that? Did they respond to anyone vvia email post-shutdown?

I can perfectly go on it. Though yesterday I received that same message, and I've been seeing it intermittently throughout the day. That was the same message I saw in a different website. CloudFlare was the name I read on both webs

The site seems to be up fine if you bypass CloudFlare and go directly to the server.
