Is there a way to edit GW Saves with 3DS Save editors? I was on another thread here where someone had a Save Editor Collection, but he didn't know if his editors would work with GW Saves. Thoughts/help appreciated on this.

Yes. You should follow this tutorial to export your GW saves using SaveDataFiler, then edit them with available save editors.
