I'm curious what's going to happen, or why they wanted to decrypt it....Of course, I doubt they'll release the info to the public and keep it all for themselves:creep:

So....what happens now?

this is great news. hopefully this will lead to some big developments for the 3ds scene

indeed, could kill off the Gateway, and shut down the 3DS scene
great news
considering they havnt released the Region Free or Firmware Spoofing code

Nintendo is going to find out now, what much can this do anyways, I doubt it can be used as an exploit to hack the 3DS.
You say that as if Nintendo doesn't have the resources to decrypt it themselves. Nintendo knew about Gateway before you did, that's for sure.
idiots.... kill the GW even before it matures....
Even if this did kill the GW, that would mean that another flashcart succeeded in its place, so... what's the problem? Unless you have stock in GW3DS or something.

Pretty sure Gateway team will keep supporting their product, otherwise they won't sell more than their first batch...

It begins, this is an awesome day indeed, glad I did not get a gateway in the end, a free method will become available now, in a short amount of time, me thinks :).

There's no way the Gateway team didn't think of this possibility. After all, they're hackers too. They know anything that's out is out to be hacked open.

And why would it kill the team? Many have bought it already for $80 (including yours truly) so their RnD costs are covered. They announce a price cut to $30 (which I guess is around/slightly above the production costs) and voila! Also, you can't imagine the number of n00bs who would rather buy a $30 card than mess around with savegames/first-gen homebrew channels, etc.

because clone cards un likely to know how to code
so we might never see Region free or Region Spoofing?

hence why im not sharing the link to the files

It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
