What happens with games that uses >6.0.0 save encryption? If you downgrade to 4.5 classic mode gateway will stop playing retail games with the new save method, right?

I'm wondering the same thing. My sister has a 3DS on 9.1 and I'd like to downgrade it to 4.5 but I don't want her to lose all her saves

I think eu downgrade to 4.5 and us to 4.2.

Ultra works fine on my 4.5

The browser exploit still works fine with loading Ultra on 4.2. Going to try out the DS exploit with the 3.0.1 launcher shortly.

What are the pros of downgrading to a lower firmware besides booting offline. It seems that it would be better to stay on my current firmware because of the saves.
