Hacking gateway blue card question

i've seen websites say r4 wood cards work on 10.7+ firmware 3ds. Since i have a gateway blue card that runs r4 wood, is there a file update to download onto the card to use on a 10.7+ 3ds?

If you use Luma3DS you can use the blue card just fine on your Emunand / updated sysnand
