Told you, I cant,
I boot Emunand, I go to setting and it doesnt show GW3D X.X.X-XX, it shouws
Ver. 9.2.0-20U

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Well, when I'm in Emunand, I can choose game by pressing select, so I guess it is okay, right?
Nope, Gateway can show this menu whenever it successfully patches the console RAM, be it on emuNAND or sysNAND environment.
When you actually are in emuNAND environment the settings should give you a GW3D string.

To properly set a emunand.
0 - Backup all your 3DS SD files, including a double, even triple backup of NAND.bin, because it'll get formated. Make sure it still have at least the launcher.dat file, the NAND.bin file and any other files needed by your exploit required to launch gateway.
1 - Remove the red gateway cart, enter the gateway launcher. It will stop at the Gateway menu.
2 - Since you already have a NAND.bin file (that I hope that's from your console backup) select the "Format EMUNAND" option. It will make a emunand hidden partition (you'll "loss" 1gb), your SD will only have the launcher.dat file after it.
3 - Copy back all your backup data to your SD (NAND.bin isn't required).
4 - Try launching Gateway again like you normally do, now when you enter the settings the version string should be GW3DS.

Protip, after doing these steps, create a "sysNAND" folder on your home menu before booting the gateway mode, and if it "dissapears" after entering gateway mode you'll know that you're actually on emuNAND even without entering the console settings.

EDIT: The NAND.bin file generated by Gateway launcher is a backup of what we call sysNAND.
Gateway "Format emuNAND" will inject this file into the hidden partition, this is necessary to make your 3DS load the environment from your SD card instead of using the console's internal NAND chip.

thanks, backing up everything on my PC and I'll do it

Simply boot the launcher.dat, and scroll over to "format emuNAND". Select it, and congratulations you have emuNAND (when it's done)!

okay, now I've got the GW3D 9.2.0-20U, Are you sure I can safely launch the update my console from the setting?
It won't update the Sysnand as well, right?

all those works fine on gateway so no anti anything
Yes it is, well it's the only issue I can see.
Only newer games cannot be played on my gateway, those that has anti-piracy system.
I can only play few game that has it, and, coincidence, they are amongst the first games released with the anti-piracy system.
So, yea, my first though, anti-piracy

if your 3DS is USA
use USA rom = no need to do anything
use EUR rom = use it with ntr language plugin

Newer games require newer system software to run properly. By being on 9.2, you are unable to play newer games. This is why we want you to update your emuNAND. It's one of the whole points of having emuNAND. For future reference, don't tell the people trying to help you that they're wrong when you don't know what you're talking about.

Correct. If it says "GW3D 9.2.0-20U" in System Settings Menu, you are in EmuNAND. Just make sure to NOT leave the menu, otherwise it will boot back to SysNAND. As far as I know, the latest Firmware works with Gateway, just make sure the System Settings Menu says "GW3D 9.2.0-20U" when you go to update.

lol, well when they obviously don't know what they are talking about either, I guess I can

Only if you don't exit the settings (when you do it you'll be kicked back to sysNAND).
Step-by-step guide:
1 - Enter gateway emuNAND mode.
2 - Enter system settings, it should show GW3D 9.2.0-20U or something.
3 - Navigate to system update option. And start it.
4 - Wait some time
5 - Your console should reset to sysNAND again, you can check by going to system settings, it should still say Ver. 9.2.0-20U
6 - Try launching gateway emunand mode again, if you go to system settings from there it should now say GW3D 10.7.0-I forgot-U

Another piece of advice: Don't tell the people trying to help you that they don't know what they're talking about.
Assuming you're using the latest Launcher.dat (currently 3.7.1), then anti-piracy measures are not the problem. The problem is you are trying to play newer games on outdated software, which is why you need to update your emuNAND.

dsrules obviously didn't know what he was talking about, that's why I said he was wrong.
As for me saying that it was anti-piracy system, read again what I said, I said that it was the only issue I could see. I didn't sa9id it was that. Just that I couldn't see anything else (didn't though about outdated version for game)
the guy kept repeating about region roms while I told him many times that I use region free, so yes, he was wrong..
If I told to anyone else that he was wrong, then please excuse me I didn't meant to.

Alright got another problem, the Emunand is fully updated now, but when I'm in the Emunand/Gateway mode, I cannot launch the game selecter anymore (select button)

Probably @dsrules assumed that Gateway should be treated the same way as some CFW (some CFW doesn't patch the region). But he/she didn't know that Gateway actually does patch the region and have a tentative of language patching too on the latest version.
And trying to clarify @Lacius advice: even if you perceive that the people trying to helping you are misguided, misinformed or plainly wrong, you shouldn't be rude about it or else people may think that you're arrogant and shouldn't be helped to begin with.

EDIT: Try downloading the gateway package again and override your launcher.dat file with the one from the package. I use emunand 10.7 both on O3DS and N3DS and the ROM selection menu works fine on them.
