Hacking Gateway and Game Updates Question

I downgraded my 3DS with Gateway to SysNAND 4.x and my EmuNAND is on latest FW. I backed up my 3DS games with Gateway, but when I select a game, some of them say there is an update. How do I go about updating them? The game backups are in .3ds format. Thoughts appreciated

Just get on emuNAND and then go to the eShop and download the update. Simple as that.

you should have done that first ^

now you need to set up your NNID to fix the error

You go to System Settings on emuNAND and then at the top of the bottom screen, there's the Nintendo Network settings that will let you set up your NNID.

Follow the guide. Set up NNID in sysnand then you can do the same in emunand. The downgrade part is optional.

I for some reason did not need to set up my NNID is sysnand. Try it in emunand first if you get an error then you will need to set it up in sysnand first.

Hopefully you registered an email address with your NNID for recovery. When you try to set it up there hopefully is a way to enter that address and recover it. Do you have purchases tied to the NNID? If not you should be able to create a new one.

How do I get to the NNID Settings on SysNAND 4.x? I can't get into NNID on EmuNAND due to the error message...
