Hello guys, sorry if this has been asked before.. I did try searching though, but I must be an utter failure since I can't find any info regarding it.
I have a 3DS XL which is on 9.2, and I'm currently awaiting the announcement from Gateway about the 9.2 support. The question is, it keeps asking me to update so I assume the 9.4 fw has been downloaded in the background. Does this mean waiting for the GW update is useless now?

Thanks.

Nah, the yes button will never take me alive, and there's no kids around 100 meters of my home to accidentally do it :P
So I'm still good for the GW update (if it ever comes before 2019)? Nice.
Thanks for the answers. :)

Ummmm, you DO know that if he puts his 3DS in sleep mode that it will install the update anyway, right? I assume you're trying to get him to update as an act of trolling. Fortunately, I'm here to counteract that.

IIRC it doesn't install anyway. my N3DS has been in sleep mode for over 2 weeks now and it's still on 9.2. I fall asleep gaming and forget to turn it off. :creep:

Ummmmm, you DO know that updates NEVER are installed automatically, but only if you agree to it when prompted, right?

Never mind, I'm mixing up the 3DS and Wii U (again). The Wii U has a feature that (but only if you agree to allowing it) 'downloads and installs updates automatically when the system is in Sleep Mode'. Carry on.

Noop. It never install the update unless you touch "YES" button. Everytime you turns on the 3ds, it will ask you to update. Put it in sleep mode to prevent that annoying pop-up

I think most of today's e-cigs are undervolted and have safeties built in, back when they were first starting it was Wild West out there, just a bunch of crap imported in bulk from China that tended to explode at the drop of a hat.
