You can't have the best of two worlds - Gateway doesn't work on 11.3 or 11.4. If you want both you have to stay on 11.2, or have an emuNAND for Gateway and sysNAND for Luma, which means you have different data and don't have one system for all your activity log etc.

But perhaps that is the big new update in April 2018!

They will release. When? Don't know, don't care that much. But they always have. And always not on the date they said they will.

Just wait or install a free CFW, which is convenient in it's own way.

It's funny how Gateway users aren't the ones complaining about the non-April release.

Guys, if we're being totally honest, we never expected them to hit their target. They never do for stuff like this. I mean, except cheats but even then there was no promised release date, just the SOON. Any projected time given by Gateway should be taken with a grain of salt, and really should be expected in the months afterward, or maybe even later.

Personally, I never had any intentions of updating in the first place, I'm actually still on 11.0. I don't have a particular reason not to, really.

people can have luma and gateway on a 11.2 fw, you can even make yourself a easy update bypass to play online etc on 11.2, and AFAIK there is no other reason to want/need 11.3+

3ds cards are long dead and useless..

You would need a pre-11.2 NAND dump, that you could restore as an EmuNAND to your SD card

I see, I still have my emunand back from when I followed the 3dsguide ages ago last year when you had to use the emunand steps. I think it was 11.0 at the time, as I remember updating the sysnand to 11.0.

Would decrypt9 or godmode be able to put that back on? Thanks

Just format an emuNAND now and then downgrade to 11.2
