This is really good. However I think I will be leaving it a few months before they iron out the problems. Currently don't like the one game per micro sd card. How big are 3DS games anyway?

max is 4gb, at least for now

that's like moving X game from your PC to the SD every time you want to change the game
Not at all, I always have a DS card in my pocket whenever I carry my DS (even If I dont need it). It would be as easy as swap Flash Cards, launch a DS Homebrew, change the filename and swap back to 3DS Flash Card.

We don't have homebrew here.

And he said "re-arranging/re-naming of files on a computer"

re-arranging/re-naming of files on a computer = moving files from PC to microSD

same -unpractical- thing

Please read my post carefully, I havent said anything about PC, just a DS Flash Card and Gateway 3DS.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned the fact that they're using a terribly old firmware in the demonstration video? Most of us probably aren't running something that old.

We don't even know if it will work with 4.x let alone 5.0.0-11. I'm still a skeptic until GBATemp gets their review sample and mentions its compatibility with the current firmwares.

Well now that we know what it is exactly I guess I won't be investing my money into one of these cards too expensive and too much of a hassle. Even if $80 is not the real amount the fact that it is only 1:1 and only stores 1 save file on the flashcard makes it worth more trouble than its worth. The whole part about because of popular demand they are now looking into region-free option is a little funny that they did not realize that soo many people wanted it.

If I were them I wouldn't start trying to make region locked games free until I have a working Flash Card. I don't see Its a problem at all.

"re-arranging/re-naming of files on the msd with via a computer"

Hopefully this clears up what I meant.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeet. If I had a 3DS, I wouldn't jump on this though, wait until more developers are out there! Those 2nd generation flashcards will be better (on some aspects), and cheaper.

Guys…
guys
Guys.
Guys listen.
I just had a though
guys listen
I just had a thought
guys
What if the Gateway 3DS
guys
Gateway 3ds
What if it doesn't
guys listen here

what if it doesn't support FAT32?!?!

This makes me remember the first DS flashcard: Neoflash with MagicKey. You have to use an original game in the MK and you were able to save only 1 game in the device.

Tsss, complaining about pricing :/

First, i'm out of this whole flashcard stuff (i'm at an age i have to set an example for my kids) i buy my games today (i did so before to, but mostly after play testing them on a flashcard) it means, i do buy less games (and play less) then i used to do.

The first Flashcart i ever bought was a SSC (Super Smart Card) for the GB and that i payed ALOT for that (same for all the Bung flashcards afterwards for GBC/GBA)
I think €65 is a fair price, if you know that 1 top game almost cost that much.

Like i said, i'll read the review here but don't gonna buy it.
